Day 1

Clients are picked up from Johannesburg International airport. Travel through to Pilgrims Rest which is where gold was first discovered in South Africa resulting in the first gold rush. The town is still original and well worth a visit. We will overnight in the quaint little hotel.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast will set off to the spectacular Blyder River Canyon. En route we visit spectacular scenery including the Bourkes luck potholes, worlds view and many more wonderful sights. In the afternoon we head down the escarpment and into the Kruger National Park. Late afternoon is spent relaxing in our own private lodge with a waterhole a stones throw away. Next two nights will be at Satara, in Kruger which has all amenities and Curio Shop. Early mornings and late afternoon is when most game come down to the waterholes to drink so we are sure to be treated to magnificent photographic opportunities over the next two nights. Dinner is served outside with some of South Africa's best wines and a view over the floodlit waterhole. Over night at Satara.

Day 3

On this day we set off early on our first game drive in search of the many and varied species found in the South African bushveld. We are keen birders so very little will go unnoticed . We stop for brunch at a peaceful picnic sight before returning to our lodge via a different route to spend the heat of the day at the lodge. Clients are free to go shopping and the swimming pool is a welcome way to freshen up before an afternoon game drive. Over night at Satara.

Day 4

From Satara we travel down to Byamiti Bush Camp. Built on the banks of the Byamiti River making it a lovely private camp, nestled under huge riverine trees. Day drives will give clients the opportunity to sight some of the most magnificent animals and birds their eyes will ever lay sight on. This camp is also well known for its Leopard sightings. Guests will be treated to snacks and sun downers. Night drive optional. Over night at Byamiti.

Day 5

Explore the many riverine drives in the southern section of the park and some of the early historic sights of Kruger will be visited. In this area the big five is regularly en-counted. Drinks and snacks are always available and stops will be regular. 

Day 6

Unfortunately the tranquility of the bushveld must be left behind as clients are taken back to the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg International Airport.  It is time to say farewell to friends made and to an experience of a life-time. With a little seed of Africa planted in you heart, smile, bid farewell and begin planning your next adventure to Africa.
